it’s just knowing that I don’t like anything which gets me down, I don’t like people, I like my own company but I seem to running out of ways to entertain myself. damn.
There is way too much commitment too soon in relationships today and it is very harmful. Dating should be when you are dating to really see if you are compatible. People should date at least a number of others in order to be able to make an intelligent choice when the time comes for commitment.
I also believe there should be no commitment until you are ready to get a ring and set a date. These trial marriages are not good because it is really only a trial commitment and real commitment should come when both people are ready to make a lifetime together. Until then, it should be a look/see relationship where he calls you on the phone or texts you and asks you out. You go out and then are able to see how he handles himself and he sees how you handle yourself in all sorts of situations.
People today hop into bed, which totally disguises the real relationship, and then fall into just hanging out with each other and then later on find out they really are not compatible. Even if they do not have sex but still make the commitment to be exclusive too soon, it doesn’t allow for growth and learning about people that comes from being free to meet all sorts of people.
